In this ongoing performance series I invited 13 artist to create a sculpture on my head using my hair as raw material. Thursday evening is when openings happen in the various Tel Aviv galleries and the artists are out moving between them to see, but more importantly to be seen.
Each Thursday a different artist I invited arrived at my home a few hours before the openings begin. They came with ideas and materials and together we constructed a sculpture on my head, The cloths were chosed together from my own wardrobe.
Following the intamate interaction, we set out to the various galleries together. When the distances allowed we walked between them and so the piece existed and moved not only within the art galleries but also on the street.
The performative act was manifested in two ways. One was the conversations with the people we encounterd,moving between questions of what art is and of gender and women being an object or a cubject. The other was the choreography created with people and the ways the sculpture dictaded different movements.
