I think I might want to stay

Installation, 2006
Felt | Beetroots | Cement powder | Wine

Each day during the week in which the installation was exhibited, I filled the cement hole and the beetroots with more wine. Two bottles for the cement hole and half a bottle for the beetroots on the first day, decreasing the amount of 'feeding' each day. The photos document the full week process as the cement hole slowly dries up while the beetroots drink the wine and stay firm. The fermented smell in the gallery became stronger as the days went by until the scent was the first thing to notice when walking into the room.
