Dinner

Video installation in collaboration with Rooly Eliezarov

Hayarkon 19 Gallery | 2014

Setting out on a journey to explore the relationship between art and money, the four channel video installation is a documentation of this quest.  It's a conversation between Serge Tiroch - Founder of ST-art investment group, Zami Aberman - CEO of Pluristem company, Rooly Eliezerov- co-founder and president of Gigya and my self that took place at my home in south Tel Aviv.

The meal was filmed with four cameras as the center piece of the table capturing both the eating and the conversation that revolved around art and  economy.

The installation allows viewers to sit and be part of the edited conversation. This creates an additional layer as the viewers become part of the work, experiencing some kind of intimacy with the people taking the other seats. There is a triple viewing that occurs as the characters in the video watch and examine each other, those seated in the chairs watching them, and around them the visitors of the exhibition are watching those who are occupying the chairs able to take in the full visual affect but deprived of the conversation itself.
